Post subject:  Lost bracket that holds the air filter lid on
Yo-

So the other day I dropped in my new shiny K&N Drop-In Air Filter. The stupid little clamp that holds the air filter lid to the body shot off in to my engine somewhere. So i have this ghetto looking clamp holding the right side of my lid down. I called the dealer and they said I have to replace the ENTIRE air filter housing. PSHAW!!

So, if anyone has an extra... or can pick one up for the next time they go to the junk yard. Ill gladly pay $20-30 bucks for it. Expensive? yes.. but it's cheaper than replacing the entire housing unit. 2003 sport KJ

( i thought about going to the dealership..act interested in a KJ...look under the hood and while the salesman wasnt looking snatching the clamp off. i am to honest for that, even if i am doing exactly what the stealership does to us!!)

Are you taking about those two clamps that hold the air cleaner lid to the box.

I need one too...I only got one on there right now.

just drill an 1/8inch hold and put a screw in it :) that's normally a good solution. i happen to have a stock air box laying around since i replaced it with a cold air intake.. send me a picture of what you need and i might be able to hook ya up
