Alright so i went to autozone and picked up some static cling tint and it seemed like a good film so i got some. I installed it myself, took my time etc... and it looks amazing from the outside but on the inside it has started to crack |

window tint is one thing i dont have the patience to do. my back windows are factory tinted ,both fronts i had done at a local tint shop near my work. i think it was like $80 or so for both fronts. i got 20% and it matches the rears pretty good. |

I have limo tint on all the rear windows (5%) and 50% on the fronts (legal limit in UT). One of my clients did it for free...... It was good to be the JL guy |

Tint isn't something that I have the patience to do myself. I get my vehicles tinted at FormulaONE. They have a lifetime warranty and generally have great installers. |

Yeah, just pay to have it done. Most good places will offer a life time guarantee. I had a friend that was good at tinting and did the walmart tint, it looked awesome, but didn't last as near as long as the stuff from an actual tint shop will. |

Some cheap tint will even change color over time. |

yes. If it's dyed, eventually it will turn purple. It will turn color even faster if you clean it with Windex. |

I got mine off of eBay. It was pre-cut to fit. Did it myself and there are only a couple of places that I am not happy with. I went 5% on all rear windows and 20% on the driver, passenger and rear window. I only paid $35 for it and it is lifetime guaranteed. |

That looks like the same company that I bought mine from. I was really happy with it. everything fit great. The back is a total pain to get right because of the curvature and concavity. You will want a helper on that one too. It's a pretty big piece to handle. I have tinted a couple of other cars that I owned over the years so I knew what I was doing. They sell an install kit, but you can just look at it and get everything locally. Credit cards and ID's make good squeegees. For the wetting solution use 1/2 teaspoon of mild soap to one quart of water. Use lots of this on both sides when you are working the tint! It helps alot. This is a pain staking, tedious, frustrating job. You need a lot of patience to do it right. If you mess it up it will bug you every time you look at your Jeep. Consider yourself warned |
