hopped in my kj this morning, and the fan is not blowing for heat or ac....

any ideas on whats up with this?

ended up being the wires to the blower motor werent connecting properly?? weird stuff, i guess the PO was a retard and tugged on them lol... seems to be working fine now after just wiggling them

Check the Jeep website for Recalls also check the NHTSA for Recalls I saw one for the blower motor thing. It could burst into flames or something. You will need your VIN number to check.

2002 has no recalls for that.

I would look into further than 'wiggling' some wires. Its not fun when it burns to the ground on the side of the hw.

Honestly this is the first I have read of the "loose" wire thing. That truely is a fire hazard if those connectors were to come in direct contact with each other.

its the connection inside the fan itself where the wires interface internally,

its prob just from moisture or the part is just junk... either or... cause i sure as heck didnt even look at the thing let alone touch it before this happened...
