If I get a chance to get home early enough today after voting, I'll clean everything up and get a strap to hold it down. I do have a feeling that the old battery probably still worked but the corrosion was stopping it from working. It was time though.
Funny thing is, that morning as I started it and left the garage for work, I told myself I need to get that Yellow-top very soon. I guess my KJ read my mind also and forced the issue.
Question: I can't find anything on the SC34DU model on the Optima website. They recommend the D34 model. Anyone know anything about the models? I know Troy mentioned the models before but I don't have time to search for it as I am siogning off to head to work now.
Thanks.
Group 34/78 should drop right in.
I know the feeling, I replaced my stock (~7year old) battery and
I KNOW it was still good!! I had it tested before I replaced it, but I thought it was causing my "no-start" problem, even replaced a starter. Ended up being my TRS. But like you said, it was time. Oh well!!
