Hello to all boys, they are an owner of jeep cherokee kj 2,5 year 2003 with 26.000 km.. Until now it has gone well, without no defect, approximately twenty days ago are inziati the problems with the box it of the steering, in the sense that in maneuver from firm is turning to dx that to sx towards half steering beam they are felt of the "noises" to come from the front chassis and passaruota the front right vibrates. Hano saying varies mechanical me that depends on the box it of the steering, and that as far as the emergency not there are problems, the only thing that if the noises increase I will have to replace it with one spold of thousand euro, than robbers!!. From three gorni instead, I feel new "noises" like of the toc always coming from the front chassis ", I have read that they are not only to having the problematic ones to the front chassis. Perhaps if they left the old rigid bridge the front one they would have been little problems. From a visit to the Jeep concessionaire, they have to me deto that the "noises" that I feel depend on the front testine of the inferior arms (already recalled C36) and as far as the posterior one they are of ears-ring in differentiates them. One spold has preventivato me of (in dollars $ 300) without the assembly. Unfortunately, then regarding you Americans quì in Italy pieces of rcambio cost more of the double quantity regarding you. To the next one!

I had a similar problem with mine. I replaced the power steering pump after I cracked the housing (I don't stop wheeling untill I get stuck or break something). It turned out I had air bubbles in the power steering system. I had a mechanic bleed the system for me. Check a service manual on how to bleed the steering system. It could be a FREE fix. If not, your steering rack may be damaged (chipper gear?). Good Luck.

I was commenting on the fact that your original post has a very international flare to the wording. It still has some Italian words/translations in it yet it is very readable. It gives the forum a little taste of how international the appeal of the KJ is! It was a compliment.
