Time stamp in post...

based on some of my posts - I'm fairly certain it is the users time stamp.
I just don't understand why - shouldn't post placement be a function of the server time stamp? and not the users

The post placement is driving me nuts lately. I got to wondering what's causing this issue. Could it be because of people's time zone set in the profile? Seems to me like this would be a probable cause if the time stamp is based off of the users profile settings.

I made sure my user time zone was current, still put one of my posts in front of an older one. :?:
