8) looking to tint the front windows soon, but can't decide on how dark to go..not looking for a limo tint but I'd love to see the array of tint %'s you all have even if it's barely tinted! Thanks in advance...

stock in the back.. 35% on front windows..

perfect for my situation.. any tint is illegal in PA so 35% is dark enough to make it look better and help from headlights behind me and UV rays... but light enough that cops wont bug ya.

Beautiful jeep. I have always loved white vehicles, as I used to live in Phoenix and it was the best choice (as I am sure your color choice was heat related as well in the hot Nevada desert). Very classy looking vehicle....

Thanks! I really wasn't in the market for a white vehicle, but this one had everything I was looking for. Now I am glad that I have it. It is definitely cooler than a dark color in the desert sun.

Just tint the windows to match the stock rears and you will love it. Plus when you drive others without the tint on the front window you will love it even more. Looks great but mainly helps cut down on glare and that darn sun haha

Is 20% the stock tint level? Pokefan's Dark Khaki makes me want to do my fronts now too!

i would've gone with 20% in the front if it was legal here... but i'm trying to go under the radar... SoDakJeep is correct... once you have tinted windows you wont be able to live without them

I just took it to the local place and said "Match the back windows" cost me around $100 but the job was flawless, matched the rears perfectly, has lasted over 5 years and looks like the day it was done.

Careful with interpreting those laws.... The NY ones are definately innacurate.

just going to have the tint place match the back as others have suggested. As long aas they say it's legal.

I don't believe that dark a tint IS legal in most states. It's not here in NY but in the Lib I never get hassled for it. Now, when I had my Camaro......

Here's a page that has links to each state's tint laws. Hope someone finds this helpful.

http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/

Like cacher123 I am running darker than legal but have never had any eyebrows raised over it.

Came with the privacy glass in the back so I had the fronts tinted...if I remember correctly...30%. Shop said you have to go one level darker than exact match because more light comes though the windshield and with the slightly darker tint on the front it all looks the same.
