Oh sure... the price of gas finally goes down (a bit) and as soon as I put my Revos on, my mileage drops! I used to average around 18 for my daily commute (mix of 20 miles each way highway with mostly cruise control and whatever local driving during the week) and up to almost 20 if I went away on the weekends to PA and did straight highway with almost all cruise control (some hilly sections on the way). I would get 16-16.5 worst with lots of stop & go and hot footing it. Now, the exact same traveling over the last couple of tanks since the Revos have dropped me to about 16 - 16.5 daily and barely able to make 18 on long highway trips. I have my tire pressure up at 35-38 and have had a new air filter and oil change since then also. I'm wondering if the "winter" gas mix is in the stations yet and if this could have some affect. On the other hand, maybe they started watering down the gas to drop the price! |

My KJ lost 1.5mpg since it has became cold also. Winter gas, extended warm up times and driving into the nasty cold winter winds all contibute to the loss. I also did the plugs, airfilter, and complete fluids change a month ago right before the cold hit. Both my vehicles drop when good ole winter comes. |

I started adding acetone to my gas again, after I noticed a drop due to the "winter mix". I've since gained 2mpg over what I normally got with the "summer mix". So far, I'm using 4-5oz to 18.5 gallons (max. capacity of tank) and still experimenting. I'll stop increasing the "dosage" when my mileage begins to drop. |

I have seen a decrease in mileage too lately. But it is not that cold here in TX yet. I wouldn't think they have started a winter mix, or if they even do that down here where it is "warm" year round. Does anyone know if most of the gasoline suppliers put the winter additives in the fuel for all regions, or just the cold ones? |

Take this for what it's worth... I change oil religiously. I recently switched from Castrol Syntec to Quakerstate Torque. My mileage is better with the Quakerstate. Not sure why, but maybe something to consider. |

yeah well my mileage has dropped considerably sice i out my TOYO's back on. for some reason im only getting, so far, 165.7 miles to a 3/4 tank a gas. which means that im probably gonna get around 190-200 a tank. 200 miles, 19.5 gallon tank, ='s very sh$%ty gas mileage. so i guess im gonna have to change my o2's, new exhaust and reroute my AEM to a much cooler place. |

OUCH rangerd77! I'm getting 320 (give or take several) miles out of 17 gallons. My tank holds 18.5. I won't be doing this once it really starts to get cold, since I fill the tank when I get down to 1/4 tank during the winter. |

We get winter mix in Vegas and it gets below 40 like two days a year. FWIW |

I have not noticed any type of big drop. Iam only getting 14.5 most is city stop and go. I changed all the fluids and spark plugs and nothing went up or down also about 5 tanks of gas ago. I watch it every tank so I will keep everyone posted to see if anything does change. |

The only change that I have seen is when I put my MT/R's on. Lost about 2 mpg. |

I've had the same issue with MY Libby, since I switched to Revos last December. I had Oem (235-70s), and don't know if it's the size, or the type of tire, but it's kind of a bummer, since I can't just run out and put a new set on for another $800 or so........ :cry (I also don't have the traction I had with the Wrangler SRAs.....The Revos seem to do fine in the mud, but not so well in wet, heavy snow. If anyone can tell me how to increase my traction with the Revos, PLEASE let me know what I'm doing wrong! |

How many miles on your KJ? A lazy O2 sensor can cause a drop in mpg. Of course, oxygenated gas can do the same. |

ever since i installed the toyo a/t's, maganflow exhaust, k&n drop in and grille guard my mileage hit the fan...not doubt because of an oddly much heavier foot. could be the tire weight combined with winter mix/colder weather. just fyi, i get 13.2 mpg's. FAIL. |

On my last full tank of gas. Once again all city driving. 15.34 MPG. Iam going out of town tomorrow on a drive to UT to snowboard. I will give a post back on how the HWY is. I will have 4 people in the car with snowboarding gear so it might weigh me down more and hills could kill me also. |
