Well I got a call from the wife yesterday , she had stopped the KJ and it started steaming

i got there ( torn rotator cuff and all ) another story,

the seal on the 16psi radiator cap had desintergrated, a quick tripl to the dealer to get a bottle of the 5 year coolant and a new rad cap as i could only find a 18psi cap at the local parts store.

No 16psi caps in stock

i have the 18psi cap fitted at the moment, whats the consensus in fitting a higher pressure cap ( ok 2 psi higher) on my KJ OK for the moment or am i being a bit special insisting on the factory set pressure
