Post subject:  new scraping sound

I've been noticing over the last few days, that when I exit a driveway that angles down to the street, there's what can only be described as a "scraping" sound from my front end. I crawled under the Jeep and have found no evidence that anything is rubbing or scraping anything & I'm not hitting the bumper on the street. I bought the KJ last winter and never experienced this sound - so I'm not sure it's only due to cold suspension parts.

Any ideas of what it is and/or how to remedy it?

just thinking...
scraping is not what most complain about,
most times this time of the year you get all of the questions about the sway arm bushing squeaking ...
its not dragging the front bumper or something is it, you said it was at a place it angles down toward the street, wheels cut hard left or right?

Wheels weren't cut hard either way - I had to cross 2 lanes of traffic before making the turn, so they were relatively straight
Not dragging the bumper I think - no scrapes/scuffs on the bottom
My first thought was that the suspension was cold/stiff and not moving well, but it's not really a squeak sound - it's more similar to a scrape, but it's not scraping :? if that even makes sense - have also been told that it sounds like something rubbing (metal on metal maybe)

This is why I'm so confused as to what it could even be.

Just had brakes checked while on my lunch break - nope, breaks are good (which I kinda hoped was the case considering I just had them done a month or two ago)

So just lube the sway arm then?
