ok so, i get in the truck the other day, put the key in the ignition, go to crank it, and the truck will not crank. however it sounds like the starter is spinning but not actually cranking the motor. maybe the gear inst engaging? I'm pretty sure its not worn teeth on the flywheel b/c after a few tries, it cranks up. I just don't need to be stranded somewhere and the truck not start, so i want to address this as soon as possible. I haven't had a chance to get under to take a look, but i figured u guys could give me a head start, plus its been like 30 here the past few days (could that be an causing it?) and its a stick so i could just push start it. any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance. |

If you can hear the starter spinning then it sounds like its a solenoid. |
