The above message should have said "hope I posted correctly" Anyway it worked. The tubes fit a little too far in/under the car than I would have liked but they do add a little "bling" & they deflect rocks pretty good when I drive on dirt roads.

I had a set of the mopar graphite rock rails, but they didn't last very long. . . i think they were more for looks than anything else cause i beat the crap out of those things and eventually they got torn off.

04jeepkj did you modify yours?? in 1 of the pics it looks like the end is cut off and the whole bar is moved back. in this picture it looks like the bar covers the whole rocker. still deciding weather is should go with GM or black, being that GM is 50 bucks cheaper for what ever reason but im not sure how it would look against the light khaki and the silver mobs

They were umm trail modified lol. those rock rails got a real beating, at one point i had to attach a tow strap and re bend the rail cause it got bashed into the tire in the last pic was shortly after i put them on and the other pics were about a month before they got ripped off on a trail. i wouldn't recommend using these rails for actual rock rails, they are more for looks. they did help a little bit but the trim under my doors is gone and i have some nice damage under there from where rocks shoved the rails hard under the doors. For some reason i always end up going over bigger rocks than i should be lol.
I plan on getting the super sliders from rock lizard fabrications and painting them GM to match the trim and arb bumper.

do you remember how they mounted, if there was a way to modify them to have the rail as well as a rockslider??

The rails have two tabs in the middle that bolt to a cross frame. I had to drill the holes myself to put them on. As far as modding those rails other than the two tabs everything else is tubular which would make mods difficult. The pic you have there is how my rails looked when i first put them on.
In all honesty i wouldn't use those rails as sliders i picked up mine when my KJ was stock and i just started wheeling and now knowing the trails i go on and the way i drive i need something much stronger than the OEM rails. The metal used to make those is very thin, and the tabs bolting them to the jeep is even thinner.
