| Post subject: | Buzzing sound from KJ. |
I just got my 12,000 mile maintenance done (oil, 5 tire rotation, inspection) and since then I have noticed a low humming sound coming from the rear of the vehicle. It almost sounds like rubbing but I checked all the possible areas, no rub, and it doesn't change pitch with acceleration either so I don't think its that. It isn't constant either and happens at all different speeds. Could it be some sort of reverb/resonance from the tires, really bad alignment, or lugs in some strange synch or something? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

I would guess tires. Different wear patterns can cause noise for sure. |

I noticed that since I have gone to the 5 tire rotation that my tires make a lot more noise for about the first 300 miles. Its not as noticeable since the MT/R's are pretty noisy anyway but there is a difference. |
