Gotta replace my tie rod ends. Is there really a difference between Moog and others for this part??? The price difference is about $6 per end. |

I don't know if there is a different but the Moog one comes with a lifetime warrenty from Advance Auto, I paid $40 for one of mine. Is it suggested if you replace one replace both? I damaged my passenger one while putting on my Frankenlift. haveing no issues with the driver side. |

I have always used Moog pretty much all the time and never had a problem with them. If you need any pictures of the inner and outers let me know , I have both sides laying in the garage |

Go with Moog! And remember, you get what you pay for. |

If the MOOGs have a grease zerk, that is worth the $6. If not, ehhh, maybe? |

Which blows my mind... I assumed when we did Modular's tie rod ends with Moogs, they'd have grease fittings. Nope! |

Great decision to go with the Moogs. I used to work as a parts manager in a large auto retail-commercial store. We carried Moog and two other "off" brands. There is a visible difference in quality. They might be made of the same metal but the nicely finished machine work on the Moogs, top grade hardware included, the lifetime warranty and also the fact that it is a steering component more then justifies the extra $6 for the safety. |
