So I have looked all over and the only two places that it looks like are these two:
this looks like antifreeze buildup leaking around the water pump seal...

this is from the top down on the passengers side. what are these two small hoses? there is some build up there...

Water pump. I just replaced mine (46k miles) which is total B.S. in my opinion! I had the exact same spots.

My dad and spoke about this last night for a bit. He's a semi truck mechanic and said that he's seen trucks' water pumps go out with less than 20000 miles...it was all warranty rock but I guess you never know. My 05 has 51000 and I thought that wasn't very much but oh well...

I've got 80K on mine, I think it is still original (not sure, bought it used). Maybe is another thing Chrysler cut on the 2005+, just like the regulators.

While your at it change out the upper and lower radiator hoses, thermostat and flush the system.

Could be a bad water pump but check that rad for cracking also.

Water pumps ARE covered under the 7yr/70k warranty. Do 05's have that?

Like jeepkj02 said, change all hoses and the tstat while youre at it.

Those lines could be the tranny cooler lines but its hard to tell.

I ended up taking it in to a mini oil lube place and they pressured my system up for a couple of hours and guess what? Yep, no leaks...the guy said they could see where it was leaking where the timing belt cover and engine come together...I will have to check that out. As far as the build up around my water pump, the guy said beause temps have been so extreme here in IA that it could be from the alum parts expanding and contracting and it leaking by the seal.

So, I guess now I have to take it into the dealership to see if it's a warranty issue for the leak by the timing belt cover area

No timing belts on the kj. Just timing chains(3).

Winter temps will not really change anything. Its always going through high temperature changes anyway.

Just b/c the pressure test passed doesnt mean something isnt leaking.

How did he test it? Did you see how he hooked it up?

If its under warranty, have at it.

no i didn't see how he hooked it up. I do know it's leaking because I have a tiny puddle everynow and then in my garage.
