I remember seeing another thread about this and I believe that the cabin filter is located on the passenger side below the windshield. The OP took out the factory one and put in a foam one IIRC. |

one of Jeepster's many posts was to install a foam filter below the windshield on his Liberty- to filter incoming air - but there was no filter before he installed it |

Well, what are you saying? That I have to many posts? http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27186 Need to check that thing, been awhile since I put it in. Its not hepa filter but it cuts down on dust and pollen. Im sure some people could get more creative and make a better one. |

Wow Jeepjeepster. You did that so long ago and you haven't checked it since? As serious as you are with keeping your Jeep clean (including going to the extent of repainting everything underneath) and you haven't checked the filter since you put it in? Are you the real Jeepjeepster or an imposter? After many a dusty trail in the Rockies and at Moab, I think it would be a good idea to add a filter. Though, I use internal air when the dust is a-flyin. |

- but there was no filter before he installed it Ahh that's what it was. As dusty as Vegas is this would be a good thing for me to look at. I know the wife's Volvo has a HEPA cabin filter. The dealership only wants $275 for the filter and another $250 to install it |
