I never use the CD player but my wife did, she had a friend burn a CD for her and first time she used it iy stuck in the player, any easy suggestions for getting it out besides a BFH?
hate it because has some really good Swahili rap/ drums on it, still plays but would like to remove it!

Oh and it is just the stock radio/cd

Thank YOU!!!

I saw the thread title and was going to suggest to use a BFH    ,but you already thought of that :( .

You may need to try and pull the fuse for the radio and then put it back in and try, besides that I can only offer that it's time to disassemble the CD player.

First thought was big crow bar , then BFH, but then fiqured I would have to pull it and tear into it, would rather pull the front diff out -vs- a darn radio

Thanks

My cd player doesnt like burned cds either.. I just messed with it until it finally spit the disc out.

When you press eject, does it act like it ejected the disc, but the disc doesnt come out?

when you press the eject button it doesn't do a thing, there was a regular CD in and it popped out OK, but then she put this in and later would not come out, I tried hard to make her feel bad and thought she would buy me a new one  but she didn't

I have an extra stock radio sitting around...I read somewhere that if you push and hold the eject button for 5 or more seconds it forces the cd out like the emergency button on a computer drive...otherwise I guess pull the radio out and open'er up.

Before you get all crazy taking stuff apart, give it a few days, and keep trying to eject it.. Maybe it will work (I think thats how mine worked).

Just trying to save a bit of work/hassle..

On some cd players there is a little hole near the cd entrance that you can feed a paper clip through to push a mechanical eject button. This is standard on most computer cd/dvd players and some car cd players but not sure if the kj has it.

try hitting the dash right above it a couple times right after you hit the eject button. Its worked for me on the stock and my pioneer.

My CD player would play would do that with normal cds then after a week of listening to the same cd the KJ would get tired of it and spit it out. At one point i put in a brand new cd in and i wanted it back, so out came the screw driver, pliers, and a few other things and i took my cd back. The cd player still thinks there is a disc in it. i don't use the cd player anymore since i have my ipod player. When i eventually get a new cd player i am going to see how it holds up underneath a Richard Cepek Radial FC II 265/75/R16.

Hit the 'CD' and 'eject' button at the same time like 400 times, in the end it will give you your cd back :D

Take a thin blade of a pen knife (my Swiss Army knife worked for me), slightly wedge the tip under the CD,and hit the eject button a couple of times. Worked for me.

This happens to mine every once in a while and came by the solution by accident. Hit the eject button and put the edge of another cd in the slot. Should pop right out. Works on mine every time.
