I've had these 2 codes on & off for some time now and it's not the plugs or coil packs - random misfire and cyl 6 misfire, The KJ runs flawless so I never really bothered with it. Anyway I have the week off so I took it to the dealer today and I was just told it's a head problem and would be covered under the 7/70 warranty, I was surprised since it ran like a watch, I miss my jeep already since a blizzard has just started up here.. I just went over having the KJ for 5 years and it's been the best vehicle I've ever owned. |

did they elaborate on "head problem?" is it because a sticking valve do to carbon build up? mike |

Only said it was internal, I had the injecters cleaned before, Guess I'll know more on Monday - It always ran good but could never keep them codes from returning. |

Just got it back, They installed all new intake valves and re-lapped the seats on the heads, The work sheet said the valves were pitted, Covered under the 7/70 warranty w/100 deductable. Very happy I took it in since I almost didn't bother - Glad to have the jeep back.. |
