A few weeks back, we had a bad winter storm. I switched the Liberty into 4WD and hit the road. I came to, and hit, at a slow speed, a snow drift about the height of the hood. Just afterwards, the battery light lit up on my dash panel, and everything (such as heater fan) was running at a reduced speed, as if there was some charge drained from the battery/alternator?? Anyway, I stopped for a minute, checked under the hood, and there was no snow. When I hopped back into the Jeep, the battery light had gone off, and all was back to normal. Can anyone enlighten me on what happed here?? Did the pressure of hitting the drift trigger something, or throw a surge into my electrical system. Not sure why this happened, but it has never happened again. Thanks.
