Common type of thing on expedition-type vehicles. You can often get the same effect by shoving branches, bushes, etc.. under your tires. |

there is also a company making a fiberglass sand ladder that a lot of the expedition guys are using, they are cheap and lighweight and work great check out www.corgate.com fiberglass grating company people are using the 2x2x2 grid then whatever length/width you need www.sandmats.com |
