My Jeep is throwing a code, its P0455 which is Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak) What does that mean? thanks |

Ewww. A GROSS leak. It means you have gross stuff leaking out of your libby. Seriously, I would bet my next paycheck that it is a small piece of rubber line that has split open above and in front of the gas tank. Do a search for that code number and you will see some photos of what I'm talking about. These lines run to the black plastic canister back there. It is an evap cannister I think. Anyway, it'll take about $5 to fix it AND relocate the rear diff breather tube while you are under there. |

I already extended my breathers and okay Ill check out those pics, I burnt one hose and replaced it so maybe it has to do with that |
