Chrysler is NOT selling Jeep

LaSorda said it was "absolutely false" that the Auburn Hills, Mich., automaker was in talks to sell Jeep. "It keeps coming up that Chrysler is going to sell certain brands," he said. "We will not separate the brands from the company."

Well.. the future is always unpredictable.

But for the time being, Jeep remains an American company.

Also FYI - the Next generation Grand Cherokee will be built on a platform shared by the Durango. :scared:

Keep it American but sell it. Chrysler sucks and this platform sharing is a nightmare. Jeep needs to be its own entity.

That could have been doable in 1999, but now, Jeeps are pulling too much from the ChryCo parts bin for them to be pulled
