so i decided the government was going to pay me to get my much needed alignment done the other day. i got it done at les schwab and the only thing they didn't get into specs was caster (2.0 left and 2.2 right...range is 2.9-4.1) but what i'm curious about is the SAI number. I'm at -1.1 degrees and they told me that may be an indication of bent parts  i haven't seen anything bent. has anyone gotten info like that after an alignment?

It's typical for the SAI to be out on both sides. Even brand-new cars with <1000 miles are like that in many cases.

It is not a tire wear issue, and on a super high performance car, you may notice a difference in very fast corners that it handles differently left to right.

Don't worry about it.

If you think yours may be messed up...ThunderbirdJunkie is aligning his KJ tomorrow (to compensate for suspension sag now that the OMEs are broken in), and he can scan the sheet for you

It is really FUBAR

Toe is the only one that you really have to worry about...as long as camber and caster are not more than about 3/4 of a degree off side to side, a KJ with big tires should not pull.

The last two alignments I've had done couldn't get the caster into specs. My Jeep doesn't pull one way or the other and my tires are wearing evenly so I don't worry about it.

Caster has no effect on tire wear,it's more for high speed handling.Camber and toe effect tire wear.
