Has anyone had any luck removing the stupid visor Warning Decals? I know I can roll over (1/2 the fun!). But I don't have kids, hence no child seat warning needed and I really hate those stupid "read this or ure gonna die" warnings in my face. They look like they are really melted/bonded into the visor fabric. I really don't want to replace the visors but may go that route. That's how much they annoy me.

LMAO.... I can totally relate. Sometimes when I find myself sitting in the front seat (waiting for whatever?), I glance up at those butt-ugly visors and wonder if I would screw them up by attempting to remove those stickers.

Cacher, if you (or anyone) figures out a way to do, please let me know.

Have to buy EURO visors or recover the ones you have.

Euro is out. Recovering sounds too much like work. Thanks just the same.

Dont try and pull them off, it will simply strech the fabric and make it look like its a 10 year old headliner (I know yall have seen those cars with the headliner hangin down). I wonder if heating it up and pulling will stop the streching?

Just cover up the warning decals with something better like LOST decals that when the visor is in the down position it can be viewed from outside.

I got them off. Hated those things. I can't believe they wanted us to look at death warnings right in our face. More political pornography. I just kept working it till it began to peel. Took a while. Still a little glue left on one of them. But much better now :D

good luck

And the Euro(pean) visors don't have the warning stickers?

Mine do, in Australia, and I suspect they're the exact same ones that you get in the US. Because the warning about putting kids in the front seat with an air bag is on the drivers side, and the one about rolling over 'round corners is on the passenger side.

Just be sure that you don't catch your visor on fire! That would be quite a story to tell on here!

Take it easy ya'll,

ADAM

I tried the heating routine on a prev car. The type of decal these are is almost bonded to the fabric and flakes into little rubbery mushy pieces and looks horrible, leaves a gluey residue, etc.

I added the "Rusty's lifted vehicle of death sticker'" that came with the lift kit.

Don't know if anyone is still interested in this topic, but I've heard (but not tried) that Goof-off works well.

Those decals are two-part things. The top part is the decal you read, and they are stuck to a clear part that is stuck to the visor. I got mine off by carefully starting the separation, and then peeling them apart. But I think I need some of the covers anyway... :)

i had no problem getting mine off, i just peeled them off with my knife while i was sitting in the parking lot at the mall waiting for my girlfriend only thing is i found that the area where my sticker was lighter than the rest of my visor, took it the car wash with carpet shampooer thing at scrubbed my entire head liner looks great never better.
