$25 each, but more than worth it for increased power and economy.
Snake oil, hope your glad in the fact you just spent $150 for a set of $12 plugs that have to benefit at all and can actually cause more harm then do good.Of course your going to see a increase in power/mpg's after a plug change, that's the whole purpose of changing them at certain mileage intervals because they are worn out.

nope in 117000 miles changed the plugs 6 times now, cheap to do, easy to replace and also helps keep the mileage up some

Maybe I am a little crazy, but I change the plugs and the PVC valve after every second oil change. I know the increase in mileage will never pay for all the extra plugs, but I would rather pay now than later. I was using NGKs, but I am switching over to Autolite Platinums this change.

OK, I got bored, nothing on TV and I did not feel like working, so I went out to the caprort and changed my plugs. The NGK V Grooves came out and the Autolite Single Platinums went in. The NGKs looked almost perfect, even the gap was good.

When I went for a drive I was stunned at how well the Autolites ran. With the NGKs there was a little hesitation under hard acceleration. At idle, the Jeep had a very slight shudder. With the Autolites there is no hesitation even when I step on it in 6th gear, and the idle is really quiet and very smooth.

I know that when you put in new plugs things improve, but even new NGKs were never this well behaved. Since I change plugs frequently, I did not see the need to go with the double platinums, but now I am curious about how well they will perform. I have used NGKs for years, but now I have seen the light.

I will never doubt tjkj2002 again.

I got talked into Autolite platinums by a vatozone guy. Wish I hadn't been.

The Lib doesn't run that much better than with the old worn out NGKs. Autolites / champion etc are pretty much the laughing stock of performance turbo cars, but I figured domestic motor + domestic plug would be best. I never knew a soul that ran anything but NGK or denso when I was into Supras a while back, and now have heard they are OEM in jeeps. I will be going with NGK iridiums next go around. They are not expensive online like they are stores. I've had them in 2 turbo Supras and now In my 240sx. In the Nissan the motor even sounded dramatically louder and more aggressive under WOT. I like.

I will save the autolites for the lawnmower

You can have the NGK's,there junk and don't hold up under high pressures. The only good thing I can say about NGK is they will buy you a new engine when there plugs fail, they bought my buddy a $60,000 rat motor after there platinum plugs broke apart in his engine blowing it up.I've only ever used Autolites since they day I started driving 19 years ago and some 50 vehicles with zero problems, okay 2 vehicles I've owned that have not used Autolites but with one running 13.5:1 compression and the other at 11.5:1 I chose to use Denso Iridium's but broke in the engines on Autolites.

Autolite's, even plain old Autolites, are excellent plugs.

Anyone who believes that "domestic plug for domestic engine..." crap, because goodness knows all domestic engines are exactly alike  , is just living a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you think rice is superior, you are going to work it so rice is superior, or vice versa.

I know I'll get s**t for this, but do you really have nothing positive to say (tjkj)? This might get me banned, but I wouldn't shoot down everything someone says. Looks like me and one other poster so far.

Anyway, I should NOT have suggested the PulsePlugs, as I am no expert. So for that, my apologies. I thought it was a thread about spark plugs.

TJKJ: Yes, I know you are pretty much King here. Don't worry, I know my place.

OK watch I will get into trouble for this BUT

Don't think its not having anything positive to say but lots of times its what has been seen to work and work great over a long period of time. I like TJKJ and alot of other people on here have been playing with 4 WDs for years so sometimes we may come across as being short but after you have heard the same things over and over here and on the job, you do cut to the chase and say this works , this does not, or at least I do.
You can post your findings as well on anything so don't be afraid to, sometimes we all may agree , sometimes none of us will agree on anything

Tom
I have use Autolite for years and no problems , have seen new and improved ones come and go like new car models, here one year gone the next
