The crankshaft position sensor on a 3.7L is mounted into the passenger rear side of the cylinder block, low just above the oil pan. It is positioned and bolted into a machined hole. After un-bolting carefully remove sensor from cylinder block in a rocking and twisting action. Clean out machined hole, apply a small amount of engine oil to sensor o-ring, install with slight rocking and twisting action. Before tightening mounting bolt be sure sensor is completely flush or damage to mounting tang will result....lather, rinse, repeat  :D
