First off I hope everyone is doing well. I am doing great now that Im not in Iraq. Alright to the questions... First off does anyone have the led tail lights? If so does anyone else have issues with seeing the lights during the day? I have a set and I get alot of people telling me one of my lights are out, but there not. It seems like at certian angles in the day time you cant see the brake lights. I dont want to get pulled over because of this. I just want to know if anyone else has this problem and have been pulled over. Im going to be in Colorado from 21 Feb to about 22 Mar. I plan on doing alot of snowboarding and I wanted to know if MTs are good in the snow or do I need to switch to a AT? Last thing... would anyone in Colorado Springs be willing to help me install a lift? Beers on me :D thanks

I am going to be in MOAB 2/21 & 2/22, but I am staying in Monument, CO for now. No clue on the bulbs, but when I was in the Japanese vehicle business selling Altezza tail lights, the DOT was giving out tickets because if lack of reflectors and light diffusion.

There are many talented people in Colorado Springs that know the KJ inside and out. If you're in need of help and you can find them; maybe you can hire the A Team

i think troy with the orange liberty is in colorado springs, as well as rock lizard fabrications, one of the leaders in aftermarket KJ supplies.

I've heard that MT's aren't great in the snow, but I can't believe that they're any worse than stock tires. I've always run BFG All Terrains and absolutely love their snow performance. Great fit for the KJ in my opinion. I'm pretty sure MT's would work just fine though.

Love to see a pic of your rig

Welcome back from Iraq! Thank you so much for your service to our country.

Ya there is a member on here Riptricket has some taillights and third brake light are all LED. But they are really expensive and not worth it IMO

M/T's do well in deep snow, not so well ( on average) on icy roads or light snow on pavement. I have been happy with my MT/R's this winter.

I would suggest the LED replacement style bulbs. Much cheaper than all new assemblies, and still way brighter than stock.

If you have basic electrical knowledge, yoju can also do the double brake light mod.

LOL... well I already have the lights... Ive had them since May of 08. I was only around them for 18 days when I was on leave, thats when I put them in. The more that Ive been around my KJ Ive noticed it. I will post pics on Wensday after my new parts come in.... :D I will also post pics of the lights in the day light so you can see what Im talking about. You can see them but if your right up on me you cant. As for the lift I do plan on heading up to RL and spending some money, I just thought it would be cool if a bunch of the Colorado guys got together for a little meet. Im going to be stationed in Carson in June so I wanted to meet some of you. Im from the Springs but due to the Military I had to leave. Thats why Im going there on leave... all my friends and family are there. Anyway thanks and yes its good to be back. I had one heck of a hard deployment... 15 months in Mosul as a Sniper... lol.
