You will need to cut your front fender flares, otherwise not hard to install at all.Should take about 2 hours without a winch, add about another hour with the winch.

not hard just A LOT of drilling (a lot more if your adding a winch as well). also if your adding a winch make sure you have a few buddies around to help you lift it on.

what do you mean A LOT? and A LOT more if you have a winch? i thought it was just the 4 drilled holes in the front of the "ARB mount", and then like 2 or 3 bolts in each side, in existing holes in your frame rails?

that sounds good tom! yours is lined up REALLY nice, i would have no problem with you helping me since you have experience installing one! :D

im getting mine from a local 4x4 shop that sponsors where i go wheeling at. not a good "deal", but its the same price i found anywhere online, if not a little bit cheaper, and im helping out a local shop, although id love to order it through JBA or boulderbars, but ill be ordering the upper-arms this spring or summer from them :D

if i remember correctly i think you have to drill 4 (maybe 6) holes in the front bumper reinforcemnt.. then 2 more in the arb bumper mount.. and if your putting on a winch with a roller fairlead you need to drill 2 holes in the fairlead and 2 more in the bumper.. and i drilled 4 holes for more bolts on the inner fender plus i made 2 brackets for my winch box (my bumper didnt come with it from arb) so i drilled 6 holes in the bottom of the box.. then 6 holes in the top of bracket i made then 4 to mount it to the plate on the bumper then 2 more to attach the plate to the bumper

so i drilled roughly 36 holes that day :) but that's all minor stuff.. all in all it is much easier to install an ARB bumper than to put the lift on.

and i bought mine used... however rusty's was having a nice sale not long ago.

see now thats a nice fit too! i was thinking when i do mine, take a flexible straight edge(like a thin flexible stainless yardstick/ruler thing), and line it up under the grill and fender, and curve it around the flare, is that how you did it?

LOL Alex, thats a lot of holes!

only the 02-04's have to cut the fenders... haha just lay out some tape.. be as picky as you want...wherever you want it and hack it off... it's only plastic

With your ARB you have to cut your fender flares, the '05+ don't have to cut the flares.

i know, i was just wondering how some guys get the flares cut so nice and flat against the bumper, and some are way off, i guess just level it off from the grill and fender, over to the flare :)

oh now i see what you mean tjkj, dieselenthusiast is an 05-07 model, thats why his flare looks so perfect lol

Not a big deal to install. JUST READ AND UNDERSTAND THE DIRECTIONS!!!!!!!

Lay out the parts, and RE-READ the instructions. When you think you are ready, RE-READ them again. The wiring of the fogs and turn signals can be the most intimidating part, if you are not electrically inclined.

Oh yeah, if you do it alone, watch the corners where the fender flares meet the bumper. and eat your wheaties.
