has anyone found an aftermarket seat that fits the KJ yet?

This the only company that makes aftermarket seat brackets for a KJ,and there seats are pretty good also.And no you can not use the OEM brackets,one side is welded to the seat frame(non power seats).

they make some really nice seats specifically for jeep, called moabs. theyre actually pretty nice. but they are $220 a peice, plus $100 for each bracket, plus $100 for each seat belt. thats $840 plus shipping :? maybe ill hold off on the seats...

That's dirt cheap,should check out how much OEM seats will run you,about $1400 per seat.

If you ever rode down the highway in them you would want them right away, not later!! so nice and comfortable. Buddy almost got a divorce over them until his wife rode in his Jeep a couple of times. She found the bill out in the garage :shock:

i would imagine with power seat brackets and oem seatbelts with some welding and cutting work you could fix it up so the moabs would work with your old seat brackets and seat belts

not much a stick welder, a sawzaw and some angle iron / bed frame and a drill can't fix
