Any Parent or Grandparent knows not to put a child car seat in the front when there is an airbag like all of our KJs have. When a larger adult sits on the passenger side and goes to buckle up the belt and they pull it 1 inch too far, it goes into the strangle ratchet mode used to retain the child car seat that is not to be put in the front.

I have voiced my opinion many times on the stupidity of elected officials who think the public is stupid and need to be protected from themselves. Here is another example.

Does anyone know what part can be removed, cut, bent, or welded up to disable the Strangle Ratchet Feature that should be only used on terrorists that need to be interrogated now that water boarding is not Politically Correct.

I don't want to order a seat belt from the UK, just fix mine.

I can just see Jack Bauer (24) pulling out the seat belt all the way and buckling some one he is trying to break as he is driving off road

Got it now, but she don't like it.

Defeating the feature would put the comments to rest for good.

I agree that is a pain in the stupid.
