Lately my brake pedal has been really mushy, like master cylider going bad mushy. Well today I decided to check the air in my tires and they were all at least 5lbs low. Well when I left the gas staition after airing up my pedal was not mushy at all, it was back to the way its supposed to be. Any chance theese two things are related?

have you bled your brakes?

squishy brakes are usually a sign of poorly bedded-in pads, not air in the system (unless you've recently removed your calipers)
