Does anyone know how I can remove surface scratchs from my Cobra 75 wx-st CB? my brother borrowed it for a couple of months and it came back with scratches on the screen part. Thanks for the help! |

A long time ago - we used to clean plastic scratches with toothpaste - it made a very light abrasive. however you have to rinse it off - I'm not sure the mike would appreciate that. you can also get plastic polishes at auto parts stores - but I think you still end up having to clean off the residue after you polish it. |

Meguiars makes a polish for plastics(head lights, tail lights, clear plastic, etc) that works great if used correctly. Not sure how it would work on something like that though. |

Sounds like the best way to fix those scratches would be to get your brother to buy you a new one. |
