I have about 7k on the set of NGK irids I put in. It runs great, I do get a very light rough idle now and then but it's infrequent. I'm changin them over to autolite plats at 15k to run for another 15k to see if I'm able to determine a difference. I got the irids when they only had 5 autolites when I did my plug change.

Who the hell stocks 5 plugs ... there weren't even any on order..

Audi and Chevrolet to name two. Both have 5 cylinder engines.

Odd at it seems to only have 5 on hand, sometimes someone will brake a plug, so they will have to go in and just buy 1 to replace it. Among other reasons.

Well if memory serves me, Autolite's come 4 to a box. And obviously the parts store that only had 5 on hand that day hadn't had their stock replenished. Not sure what else to add?

got a couple more thousand to go before my first tune up. i'll go with these plugs too. what's the correct gap size ? Jeep says i need a fuel injection cleaning as well but it's pretty pricey (of course). any alternatives or do i have to go to Jeep (or local mechanic)? now remember, i'm a musician NOT a mechanic!!!! 8)

Napa sells BG44K. It is like 20-25 bucks, but it really cleans out the carbon deposits well. Fill up the tank, put in the 44k, run down to 1/2 a tank, fill it back up, run down to empty and you are good to go. I do it every 6 months.

My personal research has shwon this to be true...

By plugs that are make in the same country where the car was produced.

NGK's are for Jap cars
Autolight's are for American cars northand south
AC delco is for Chevys
Motor craft for ford
Bocsh are for german cars

If you do this you will never have issues.

never buy hybrid snake oil plugs... unit the OEM puts them keep them out.
