Anybody ever done or know if its possible to grind out a small notch on the edge of the flipper glass? I mounted my CB antenna bracket along the window and in order for me to get a 3rd screw in there I need to move some glass! (probably ok with 2 screws but I am anal about things). I already tried a recessed screw but I still catch it.

Bones, try actually counter sinking the metal in your bracket and then try the recessed screw again. It may be just enough.

GRINDING ON TEMPERED GLASS IS RISKY... I was in the autoglass bizz for about 12 yrs and have seen & have done it ... also have had it blow up on me ... in my experence the trick is to keep the glass cool .. but not too cool.. and take small amounts at a time .. I wouldnt recomend doing it , but some one else may know if a better way ...

Lots o luck
