Post subject:  2.4L power steering pump gone bad...
My PS pump bit the big one. I have a 2.4L gasser with 62000 on it. It seems kinda soon for the part to be failing, but thats beside the point. I have been looking everywhere trying to find one, but nowhere that i can find carries them for the 2.4. Anyone have an idea where to go? I tried ebay, summit, jparts, etc. even did a google search to no avail. I hate taking it to a dealership because i know it will cost an arm and a leg. Poor college student + workstudy job that pays minimum wage = low funds haha.

Also just curious - I have been driving it with the bad pump for quite awhile, around 5000 miles or so. I hope this wont hurt anything else and i don't think it will, but i just wanted to make sure.

honestly i like it. it has had some issues since i bought it, but it was used. when its running healthy its pretty sweet. definately not too powerful but its more than enough for some mild trails. i cant wait to get some lift and power upgrades for it.
