Well this info is not directly for Jeeps but it may soon.

I'll have to get the TSB # but ran across a Ford TSB today stating do not use Propylene Glycol Antifreeze in Ford vehicles and since '02 Ford has been using the same coolant Chrysler has been using since '01 which is the HOAT coolant. They warn only use Ethylene Glycol based coolants only,I'll have to run through the Chysler TSB's and see if they have anything similar.

Not knocking it but there is no universal coolant, period, and here is the prime example of Propylene Glycol Antifreeze..............

Just stick with the proper coolant that your cooling system was designed for which is HOAT coolant(Zerex G05).

not that it really makes a hill of beans but Caterpillar ELC is also a ethylene glycol based antifreeze. If ethylene and propylene are mixed, it really messes things up

The green stuff is Ethylene Glycol.

I had read that Ford refused to go with an HOT coolant. I also read that they delayed the transition from Ethylene Glycol in order to test the long term effects of HOAT in their vehicles [checking for corrosion and performance]

Everytime I see a antifreeze question I post this link.

Check it out and notice they are ALL Ethylene Glycol based

I just read that NAPA and PepBoys both carry Zerex

Ford has been using HOAT coolant since 2002.Most European vehicles have been using HOAT coolants for a long time, testing done  .

Chrysler started using HOAT in 2001, Then Ford in 02 and who knows what GM is doing...

I'm not versed in the European makes though.

You'd probably be better off using some Water Wetter.
It's compatible with all antifreezes including HOAT
