These are two lights i saw on ebay well they work one for headlights and one for fog lights

and didnt mean to hijack the point of the post, we (i) just got a bit carried away

i don't know about those bulbs, they don't seem to be real HID's

don't HID's require a transformer? they look like they're just normal "high performance" xenon bulbs

the lights will work but i wouldnt suggest them. they will look whiter but will not shine as far as the stock halogens. if you want H.I.D.'s then you should get a kit with a ballast too. check ur local laws about real HID's tho

Those are not true HID or else they would not be on there for everyone would have purchased them at that price!
I know someone on here has true HID's but the name has slipped me for now.

If you look at the picture in the first advert. you can see the word; Halogen

A HID bulb does not have a filament. It relys on the same way a spark plug operates. It relys on voltage between 2 electrodes in a specially mixed gas environment. the area that "arc's" creates plasma that glows inredibly bright.
