Okay in the trading post forum.. I think maybe we should have a Feedback Topic.. like if one member dealt with another lost jeep member they could leave positive or negative feedback. That way we know who to deal with and know who not to. Was there something like this before or not? |

I dont think the admins are going to want anyone openly bashed on the forum if they had a bad transaction... but we shall see what they say.... |

Well not like bash them but just like maybe have a ratings system for sellers kinda like an ebay deal maybe.. But instead of stars like different jeeps for the better the ranking... |

I don't really know why they wouldn't approve it, I mean neons.org and xtremeneons.com all have a sort of seller's feedback system. We don't need a bashing system just a Positive or Negative feedback on whether or not the transaction went good or bad that way we know who to deal with and not to deal with especially as we continue to grow. I think for a person who is a bad seller and who shouldn't sell should have the rating of a broke down jeep aka picture of a broken jeep on their profile. But a person with a Amazing rating should have like a NEW Jeep thats tricked out picture on their profile. I mean it would help eliminate problems as far as if newbies are coming onto the board buying stuff and not paying for it and yadda yadda.. |

Okay but why still shouldn't we have a positive or negative seller rating system? I mean it's only fair to let people know who is a potential thief and who is not. The forums wouldn't have to take any responsibility but the other users would then know if that person who has a negative rating is selling something not to buy from them because they are known not to keep their end of the deal. I'm sorry I ain't complaining or whatever but I really think our forum could benefit from a deal like that. |

I think the easiest answer to why we don't have a rating system is that this is not Ebay! The classifieds section here is just something nice TPTB allow us to use. Everybody should do their own homework before buying or selling anything, anywhere. Now, back to Jeep talk!
