I have a leak that I believe is the gasket between the timing chain cover and the block. It is a constant drip. It is leeking right at the bottom of the block behind the crank pulley. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so what was the end $$$$ result. My 7 year 100,000 mile warranty expired 2 weeks ago. Any info would be helpful. Thanx

If it's coolant it's most likely your water pump leaking, not hard to change at all and not to expensive either.

I take it the timing chain drives the water pump? I had to replace the water pump in a 1997 Chrysler Cirrus. What a total beotch.

The WP on a 3.7 is driven by the serp belt, not timing chain/belt driven.

It is in the shop verdict was that the seal behing the cover was leaking so to pull it off and replace the seals, I also decided to replace the water pump while everything is apart, hoses, flush, thermostat and other nick nacks the total is going to be $650.
