Post subject:  Snatch Straps?

I read an article about 1-2 yrs ago that rated around 15 straps...
Some of the Name Brand straps didn't do so hot... I can't find it anywhere online...

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

What is everybody else using?

Can't help you out with the article but I have a 3"x30' snatch strap that I bought from TSC for about $45 and is rated for 30,000lbs,made for recovering tractors and they have bigger ones also. The biggest I have seen at my home town TSC has been a 8"x75' strap rated at 200,000lbs,it was $1500 though.

I picked up 2 3"x30' straps for $90, and they arrived in a few days. They look like they are very well made, but I have not had a chance to try them out yet.
