Well at work there is a empty lot just on the south side of our shop, after today and yesterday that lot was pretty muddy.2 of the guys I work with have pickups and went playing during work, one is a '01 Dodge Offroad edition pickup with 265/70R17 Destination MT's,the other is a '76 Chevy 3/4 with 33" Destination MT's.Well the Chevy had no issues(almost) but with D60/C14 and a well built 454 he kept the wheel speed way up,the Dodge didn't fair so well and got stuck in mud over his 32" tires. The Chevy almost got stuck trying to pull the Dodge out and that's when they came yelling for me.Well me being only 2wd and didn't feel like getting the KJ muddy, sorry I hate mud, I simply did not leave the parking spot I was in.Ron(the stuck guy) pulled my winch line out to his Dodge and hooked to the rear hitch.Thank god I parked where I did when hooked up I had exactly 5 wraps left on my winch drum,he was about 95' away.Well to make matter worse his Dodge was also almost at a 90 degree angle to me also,oh well we'll put the WARN to the test.Well 60 seconds later he was not stuck anymore, pulled him 60' back to the harder ground,he was in "N" the whole time to keep the winch rope tight and since I had to swing him 90 degrees also. The old WARN pulled like a champ and I never had to get muddy 8).

Sorry no pics since I was at work.

Heck I didn't even move 1" ,just put the KJ in "N",set the parking brake, and hold the brake pedal and winched away.I'm sure glad I opted for the WARN 9500XP,a 8000lbs winch wouldn't have been enough.

Too bad you didn't have a CRD you could have just pulled them out and blown their minds.

Is that what she said?

Too bad you didn't have a 3.7, because we all know that gas is way better than any stupid diesel Jeep, and you could have just pulled them across town and then the town would have a ticker tape parade for you and you'd be spending your nights on a large pile of money with many beautiful women.

ThunderbirdJunkie couldn't have said it better himself!

If I had a CRD the amp draw would have killed the engine with only a 91amp alternator.

It's funny how many stucks happen right next to a parking lot. I've pulled out a couple people like that over the years.

The good news is, the pulling power is at its maximum when you get down to the bare drum.

I can point out about 100 or so scratches from trail runs.

And, judging by the comments of these other folks who seem to know you, I assume each of the 100 have been individually treated to minimize their visual impact. :D

I'm teasing you, but actually I respect that approach, especially since it obviously doesn't keep you off the trail.
