I looked and did not see that anyone else had posted this so I thought I would

Don't know that I totally agree with their prediction, but this was an interesting read:

Looks like 3/5 of my local dealers are gone..... but the closest one i use anyway is gonna stay around. Only question now is..... is the liberty gonna stay around?

I wonder if their taking into account the success of the Liberty, i think it outsold most other Chrysler vehicles during it's run thus far?

I like this part:

Fiat Panda: Jeep's Compass and Patriot may have seen their best days, but a small Jeep makes a lot of sense in a high-fuel-economy world. So, how about a Jeep version of the Fiat Panda? Fiat's CEO, Sergio Marchionne, may have let it slip when he referred to the Panda as a Jeep. In any sense, it makes perfect sense, especially given its 40-mpg capability.

I will be needing a commuter vehicle someday as the KJ gets longer in the tooth.

Though not in this article (I don't remember where I read it), apparently one of the things that Fiat is interested in getting its hands on is the 2.4L "World Engine" from Chrysler.

Maybe we can get a decent diesel that will meet the current U.S. emissions standards in trade...

Liberty will stay around, it's economically viable. Even if it's considered a womans "car". I think it will stay for a while.

liberty will stay, just go drive around for 30 minutes, get a bite to eat, and i'll bet you see at LEAST 10 liberty's...maybe 20!
