I looked around LOST and KJCountry and the how to thread I found was here http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=38016

My second window regulator went out today, this time it's 3K outta warranty. How many of you have fixxed one yourself? I really don't wanna spend much more than $100 for part + labor. But looks like the part itself is around $80.

besides 1) "Remove the screw in the handle and arm rest. The rest of the door panel is held on by push pins. A trim removal tool, or a flat head screwdriver will help getting the panel pulled."

2.) "then just pull it off.. it will be hard to at first but it'll come.. with loud bangs.. dont worry you prob. wont break anything"

is it gonna be pretty self explanatory once I get to that stage to swap out the part and hopefully get the panel back on securely?

Thanks.

I went by that guide. Once you get the panel off its pretty easy to see. Just take off the bolts on the door frame. The hardest part form was the last part of getting that little ball/slider (i think it was)...the peice that is actually connected to the glass.

It's kind of a task working with the regulator inside of the door...but my arms are kinda big to get in there in the first place.

It prolly took me a lil over an hour working in the dark & using the wrong tools
