Who has replaced the bulbs in the stock Limited foglight locations (inset in the grill)? I'm looking for options other than stock replacement.

I believe these are 9145 H10 globes.
If you put this into your search engine it should give you a good range of available replacements.

I've installed HIDs in my KJ Limited's fogs.

I can't say I really use them much as I anger ANYBODY infront of me - sedan, truck, bike, the lot, all because of the naked HID bulb.

Has anybody seen these projector fogs you can get for <04 models? Is there anything available for '05? That should solve the problem provided that the HID bulb can fit properly inside.

Remember that these are fog lights (to be used in abnormal atmospheric conditions).
No wonder you are blinding oncoming traffic!! The fog lights should not be pointed like headlights, rather they should point down a little below your normal beam headlights.

Tola, Did you have to install any ballasts for the HID?

Fogs came stock and I'm pretty sure they are pointed downwards somewhat - and I didn't adjust them; just replaced the bulb with a HID kit (yes, with balast).

Even if you're facing the car from the side, if you can see the bulb, it'll blind you at night. Naked HIDs are BRIGHT!

The kit I installed for my main headlights came with reflectors as part of the bulb kit; probably because of the HI/LO beam in the one bulb. I don't think I've ever seen a H10 with reflectors built in tho.

Welcome to LOST TOLA, and thanks for the info! Can you tell me what brand and model number HIDs (or kit number) that you bought? I like the sound of those. :D

The H10 (9007) bulb does not have a reflector built in. the reflector is built into the reflector/light housing.

Seems, you've turned your foglights into mini- spots. Not a bad thing to do, if you don't get a lot of fog 8)

I just replaced my foglight globes after realising that one had burnt out.

I thought foglights are supposed to be yellow and not OEM white. White on fog just gives you a white-out with little penetration, so I replaced them with these:

Although They say HID on the packaging, They are not HID. I think they are HID lookalike, But a hell of a lot more light output than the OEM.

Note that the headlight is on, but the fogs are putting out way more light. Perfect for foggy conditions.
