the water im not to worried about, im sure ill be able to find somewhere. its the trans sensor that might be the headache. im thinking of just buying a new pan and have a bung welded in to it. i have to put in an aux cooler in anyway so then would be the time to do the swap. |

From another thread on this subject: JJsKJ wrote: kolesy wrote: How hard is it to actually install a temp gauge for the tranny? What all is involved? I think one of the "easiest" ways is to get a manifold that installs inline w/ the hot side cooler line. There is a tap on the manifold to install a temp sensor. I think allyrand did one this way (IIRC). I saw the manifold through summitracing.com once but never tried doing the install. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch ... 4294845487 You can try typing the following into the search box: trans AND temp AND guage and it will bring up other posts about this topic. |

Personally I am just going to go with boost and EGT gauges, these are both fairly easy to tap too. |
