I have an 03 renegade and my bro has an 04 limited and the wheels look like they have different backspacing. my wheel comes out to the edge and his looks like it is in an inch. Why would jeep do this. I would think his wheels would rub less on mine with my bigger tires. Chris |

Probably different tires. the smallest size I have seen is 225/70 and the biggest is 235/70. The first number is the width in millimeters. Easy mistake. |

Chris you can't tell backspacing from the front. Their style may be different in that the spokes are thicker or pushed forward more. It's my understanding that all KJ aluminum rims (16" at least) are the same dimensions. |

The 16" wheels are 7" wide with a 5.5" backspacing. The 17" wheels are 7.5" wide, and I don't remember the backspacing on them. |

his have around an inch lip where the spokes go to the wheel and mine do not. my spokes go all the way to the edge. In my eyes that would mean different backspacing. BTW they are not aftermarket wheels. Chris |

thicker spokes man, you have to measure the back of the wheel where it contacts the rotor or drum to the outside of the wheel. |
