Many people have told me to use the bed liner http://www.duplicolor.com/products/truckbed.html

but whats the diff between using that, and just a general purpose matte black paint

http://www.duplicolor.com/products/premium.html

what do you guys think? I want to remove my grille insert, paint it matte black and put chrome plating behind it.

should i paint or should i buy an already black one on EBAY (found one the other day that was 10 bucks but some clips were broken.)

If it were me I would either buy some plastic paint scuff up the grille paint and clear coat OR sand it down, roll on a few layers of Herculiner and be done with it.

I would use Herculiner over Duplicolor and over the paint.

Paint is going to chip on plastic.... Bedliner would be best.... Unless you don't mind repainting every so often... Like me!!! :D Paint is good!!!!

I noticed you want black.... Are you going to paint your bumpers and fenders to match?

Just Line-x the whole thing.....
