| Post subject: | Water underneath |
Everyday when my wife brings the Jeep home and parks I notice a puddle of water under the right side about even with the passenger door when we go back out. It is worse if the A/C is left on when she shuts down. I have not noticed it before, but I was in Iraq/afghanistan for the last year and my wife is not very observant when it comes to the vehicle. We live in southern California now and I am thinking it is condensation from the A/C, but it seems like alot (we lived northern Nevada before and I never had this issue, but that was probably because it was so dry) and I just want to make sure that I am not missing anything. Thanks Joe |

Good question. I was noticing the same on mine, (small water all the time, much water when ac on). I was actually thinking maybe my ac was running all the time or something. |

A/C is engaged when you have the defrost selected as well. drip,drip,drip...no way around it unless you live someplace real dry! |

dont worry about it, like they said from the AC, if it is green, then you have a problem, the freeon is leaking |

Yup, lots of water = very normal for the KJ. In fact if you don't see a large puddle under the KJ in the summer - you should make sure the HVAC drain isn't pluged up. |

Sorry guys, the weather is just too darn perfect up here. Spring through Fall it's in the mid 60's to Low 70's. Winter It drops down to the mid 30's. Rains just about 5 days per month for a couple of hours at a time. One real rain storm in the 14 months I've been here. Gets a bit windy but just grab a light jacket, and your golden. Don't even get me started on the scenery! |

Yea, us Washington guys use our AC maybe 2 weeks of the year. AC around here means windows down to check out the scenery. |

Thats great, but it doesn't make up for the half hour of AC use before you got home. |
