Evaporative Emissions System - Small leak detected http://www.obd-codes.com/p0456 Usually the gas cap is not tight, or was removed while the engine was still running. I had a faulty gas cap give me fits for a while, back when. |

Thank you, This happened a while ago then went away one time when I got gas. Thinking I should get a new gas cap. |

Something to pay attention to... it may be bad gas cap - or just loose gas cap, but it can also be a sensor going bad. For a while, I frequented a full service gas station along my way to work, and started getting that error from time to time - was on the verge of grumping at the attendants - when I started getting additional codes (forgot the numbers), and eventually needed the sensor replaced. |
