Leaving work today I noticed that the shifts on my auto box is hard/harsh, like popping the clutch during a race. I didn't pay to much attention to it. halfway to home, suddenly it shifted back to third for no reason and the MIL comes on. I now have got third gear, i think, and reverse. Hooking 1st on the shifter does not help.

where can I start looking for the problem?

I bought a obd2 reader that plugs into my laptop and have various software to use and all of them indicate the same thing. no extra information. :? :( :?: :x

So last night I checked the oil level. Yellowish colour and not red. Looks too full. Im bying the filter today and draining it on saturday.

I fiddled with the input sensor plug, pressure switch plug and output sensor plug.

Put the laptop back on and reset the failt code. I took it for a spin and everything is normal again. :?:

I'll definately replace the oil and from there see what happens.
